Improving the quality of property listings

It’s important to us that everyone who uses has a positive experience on our site. The reason is simple, people who have a good experience come back to your listings!

The best way for us to make that happen is to ensure the content on is of the highest possible quality. So how do we define quality content? Good quality content is accurate and up to date. Here’s what you can do to help;

Real Listings

Only properties that you currently have available to sell or let should be advertised on

Live Listings

If a property has been sold, please move it to the “sale agreed” category. Not only does it help the property hunter gauge the market in a particular area, it showcases the success of your business and helps build your reputation as a successful estate agent. Likewise, if a property has been let, then please move it to the “let agreed” category.

Avoid Duplication

There should just be one listing per property. Advertising a property twice doesn’t mean you get double the views, it means that property hunters have to work twice as hard to sort through the available properties.

Posting an advert to the right the category

Posting an advert to the incorrect category means fewer enquiries for you as you are not advertising your property to your target audience. To get the most out of place your advert in the correct category, for example if you are letting your property then post it to residential letting, if you are sharing then sharing is the one for you!.
